To move forward or back in your lesson plans, tap the navigation forward or backward arrows in the lower corners of the screen, or swipe left and right across the screen. You can also use the Jump to Today or Jump to Date buttons in the upper right corner of the screen to move to a specific date. To change your view to Week, Day, Month, or List, simply tap the desired button at the bottom of the screen.
To add or edit a lesson, in the Plans view, tap on a lesson or Class title to open the Lesson view. Tap in the text box in the Lesson view to open the virtual keyboard. To apply rich text (fonts, sizes, colors), you need to first enter your text, then tap and hold to select the text, and finally tap the rich text buttons for fonts, sizes, colors. To add or edit Homework, Notes, or other sections within the Lesson view, tap the section tab, and then tap in the text box to open the keyboard. To save your lesson changes, tap the Apply button.
To add or edit classes, tap the Go To Menu button in the upper left corner of the screen, and tap Classes. To add a class, tap the Add Class button. To edit a class, tap the class row, and tap Edit. To save your changes, tap Apply.
To add events, from the Plans view, tap the menu button in the upper right corner of the screen and tap Add Event. You can also add events in the Events view: Tap the Go To button in the upper left corner of the screen, tap Events, and tap Add Event. To save your event, tap Apply.

To create a PDF, from the Plans view, tap the menu button in the upper right corner of the screen, and tap Print to PDF. After you select the criteria for the PDF, tap Apply. From the displayed PDF page, tap either the Email button to email the PDF, or the Print button to print the PDF. Printing from the iPad requires an iPad compatible (AirPrint) printer that has been setup on your iPad.
Using the planbook.com iPad app while disconnected from the Internet allows you to view and update the lessons and events that were stored on the iPad during your latest online session. The stored lessons and events are in the current, prior, and next week. The offline changes you make are stored on the iPad, and then sent to the planbook.com server the next time the app is used while connected to the Internet.
